These girls remember the day, date, hour, and what they were doing when their "period" started. So- do you think they don't remember EVERYTHING you forget? The birthdays, weddings, kids play at school. Everything. Let this be a lesson to NEVER forget ANY of the special moments or anniversaries.

Modern SJW little brats hate this video because to them, there are no boys and girls. I would have loved to see this video in 1991 when I was 12 and going through this!

This is a great educational movie and I'd say this should be a mandatory viewing, for girls as well as boys that age, because lets face it when it comes to menstruation boys and men in general have little clue, before they have first hand experiences with the other sex. I know for certain it would really save me some embarassment and worries if I saw something like this.

Instead of high quality educational movies like this, me and my generation (this is a central-eastern Europe, ex-Soviet block country) had only two avenues of sex education:

A) porn - which gives you many terrible and unwholesome ideas about how women (and men) behave

B) religion classes - during which a Catholic priest who can't have intercourse because of his religious dogma and prays to certain Mary who gave birth without having an intercourse... and this guy teaches you that thinking about sex is filthy, using condoms is bad and they break anyway, so what's the point*

So yeah, I wish kids everywhere could just watch a movie like this one and talk to a teacher who would explain things to them, instead of making this ordinary, basic stuff into some kind of taboo covered with fear and superstitions. Because too many parents, for various reasons (religious or other) just don't discuss this stuff with their offspring.

*never happened to me and I had my share of fun... A true miracle, isn't it?

I wish Id seen this video when I was 10 and knew nothing about why I got my period or what to expect. Had to chuckle at cramps feeling like " a little bit of pressure on your lower abdomen" more like the feeling of an 18 wheeler on you. Love the diversity and the positive message.

So this must be the film we boys were never allowed to see in gym class. Information is good to know considering at least half the population goes through this on a monthly basis. I will make sure to have some products at home for visitors just in case.

I do not know what that other reviewer was talking about -- must have been trolling -- there are just a few very matter of fact PG-13 diagrams that illustrate reality.

FP has problems with the body's natural functions apparently, or is some religious zealot that finds the body a nasty, perverted thing.

My wife got a kick out of this, as she was shown this film long ago in school as a young girl.

Actually, it's a sweet little look at growing up for girls, with a nice female empowerment message at the end. Also some groovy graphics and a breezy soundtrack. As Spuzz put it, "a nice period piece"...

After seeing Molly grows up and countless other feminine shorts, (ever see the one made for Down syndrom kids? my god!) I went into Naturally a girl with some reservations. But I was actually quite surprised at how breezy and free flowing (ewwww, excuse the pun) the whole production is. Using diagrams and examples, we learn about the reproductive cycle of a woman, and as well, actual interviews with several teenaged girls, one of which looks very familiar. (the right one of the pair), I'm not sure why. A Surprise.
